Linda Yaccarino

Linda Yaccarino is the CEO of X, formerly known as Twitter. She was named to this role after serving as chairman of global advertising and partnerships at NBCUniversal, where she oversaw all aspects of advertising, partnerships and strategic initiatives, leading a department of over 2,000 people, and playing a key role in the launch of the Peacock streaming service.

Throughout her career, Yaccarino has helped numerous organizations navigate increasingly competitive and disruptive circumstances and find innovative, sustainable, winning positions. Prior to joining NBCUniversal, Yaccarino served as Executive Vice President and COO of Turner Entertainment Advertising Sales and Marketing and Acquisitions. There, she was responsible for all advertising sales, sales marketing and program acquisitions for the company’s television networks TNT, TBS and truTV, as well as overseeing acquisitions for sister networks TCM, Cartoon Network and Adult Swim.

Among her many honors, Yaccarino was recognized in 2023 by Forbes on their "50 Over 50" list; by The Hollywood Reporter on their 2013 "Women in Entertainment Power 100" list; by Adweek in 2011 as one of the “Ten Most Powerful Women in TV”; and by Business Week as a “CEO of Tomorrow.”
