Lisa Kay Solomon teaches innovation and venture studio at the groundbreaking MBA in Design Strategy program at San Francisco's California College of the Arts. Building on her background in experience design, scenario planning, and business strategy, Solomon is passionate about helping leaders think originally and expansively about the future, and their role in creating it. She extends her expertise as the Founding Chair of Transformational Practices and Leadership at Singularity University, focusing on leadership and culture design to adapt to rapid technological and social changes. She emphasizes the importance of underlying cultures as catalysts for innovation or detriments and is adept at engaging diverse audiences in strategic conversations that drive innovation and change the future of organizations.

She is the co-author of the book "Moments of Impact: How to Design Strategic Conversations That Accelerate Change" (Simon & Schuster, 2013) with Doblin Innovation's Chris Ertel, which describes how to apply design principles to high-stakes, open-ended strategic challenges. This bestseller has been translated into over 12 languages, marking Solomon's influence in global discussions on innovation and strategic planning. Additionally, she authored "Design a Better Business: New Tools, Skills and Mindset for Strategy and Innovation," further illustrating her thought leadership in navigating business complexities in an ever-evolving landscape. Solomon holds an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a BA from Cornell University. Her work and ideas have been featured in major publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and Business Week.
