Logan Browning

Logan Browning is an actress born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She is best known for playing Samantha White in the Netflix series Dear White People.

Browning made her acting debut in the teen series Summerland, as the character Carrie, alongside Jesse McCartney and Zac Efron. She also played Vanessa in the Nickelodeon series Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide.

In 2007, Browning starred as Sasha, one of the main characters in the live-action theatrical feature Bratz: The Movie, based on the popular line of fashion dolls. She also made an appearance in Prima J's "Rockstar" music video, which is featured in the film's soundtrack.

Browning joined the cast of Tyler Perry's Meet the Browns during the show's second season. She also had a recurring role on the Disney XD series Pair of Kings. She appeared in two episodes of The Secret Circle, a TV series based on the novels of the same name by L.J. Smith. In April 2012, Browning was cast as Jelena Howard in VH1's Hit the Floor.

In 2016, it was announced that Browning would portray Samantha White in the Netflix series adaption of Justin Simien's film Dear White People. The show premiered in April of 2017 with a positive reception from critics. The second season followed in 2018 and the third season was released in 2019.

Browning also played the role of Lizzie in the 2019 Netflix horror film, The Perfection. She starred alongside Allison Williams as musicians whose lives intertwine in a way that causes shocking consequences.

She attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.
