Lou Ferrigno

Louis Ferrigno is an American actor, motivational speaker, fitness trainer/consultant, and retired professional bodybuilder. As a bodybuilder, he won an IFBB Mr. America title and two consecutive IFBB Mr. Universe titles; and appeared in the documentary film "Pumping Iron." As an actor, he is best known for his title role in the CBS television series "The Incredible Hulk" and vocally reprising the role in subsequent animated and computer-generated incarnations, including films such as "The Avengers" (2012), "Avengers: Age Of Ultron" (2015), and "Avengers: Infinity War" (2018). He also starred in European-produced fantasy-adventures such as "Sinbad of the Seven Seas" and "Hercules," and played himself in the sitcom "The King of Queens" for seven years, and the 2009 comedy "I Love You, Man."

In addition to his entertainment career, Ferrigno has maintained a significant presence in the fitness and wellness industry. He and his family started Ferrigno FIT, a community focused on fostering positive habits, lifestyles, and ideas. Ferrigno is also known for his motivational speaking, where he addresses topics like health, fitness, overcoming adversity, and his experiences with his hearing disability. In May 2018, President Donald Trump appointed Ferrigno to be a member of his Council on Sports, Fitness & Nutrition, reflecting his commitment to health and fitness advocacy.

His law enforcement involvement includes being sworn in as a Los Angeles County, California, reserve sheriff's deputy, Level II in February 2006, and roles in volunteer sheriff posses in Maricopa County, Arizona, and San Luis Obispo County, California. These roles highlight his dedication to community service and public safety. Ferrigno continues to inspire many through his public appearances and ongoing projects in both the entertainment and fitness sectors.
