Lynnette Marrero

Lynnette Marrero has made a name for herself on both the national and international stage as an influential figure in the world of bartending and mixology. She has been the recipient of the James Beard Award for her expertise in mixology and was named Wine Enthusiast's Mixologist/Brand Ambassador of the Year in 2016. Marrero's extensive knowledge and experience in the field have led to prestigious roles such as being the Brand Mixologist for Perrier Sparkling Water and the Trade Ambassador for Zacapa Rum. Additionally, she currently serves as the beverage director at Llama Inn and Llama San in New York City, where she continues to showcase her skills.

Marrero's passion for the industry is not limited to her professional roles. She has made significant contributions to the industry through her philanthropic efforts, co-founding "Speed Rack," a national cocktail competition for female bartenders that raises money for breast cancer charities. This initiative has expanded globally to the UK, Canada, and Asia, raising over $500,000 for the cause. Marrero also serves as the beverage chair for the culinary events Taste of the Nation and City Meals, and was named an Inaugural Honoree at the Dame's Hall of Fame at Tales of the Cocktail. She has also been named one of Food and Wine with Fortune Magazine's "Most Innovative Woman in Food and Drink," and one of the "Top 10 Most Influential Bartenders of the Past 10 Years" by Food & Wine magazine.
