Manoj Sinha

Manoj Sinha is the founder and CEO of Husk Power Systems, leading a global team of 600 professionals across the U.S., Asia, and Africa to deliver affordable, reliable, and clean energy to rural communities through innovative microgrid solutions. For over a decade, he has been passionate about solving the energy transition challenge for the millions of people living in energy poverty, and creating positive social and environmental impact through renewable energy.

Sinha has extensive experience in strategy, start-up ventures, and global management, spanning multiple industries and geographies. He has successfully raised over $150 million in capital from diverse investors, forged partnerships with various stakeholders, and influenced energy policies and regulations.

Sinha has been recognized on the TIME100 Most Influential Business Leaders in Climate list, is a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, and won the "AI for the Planet" award, among other honors. He is a frequent speaker and panelist on topics related to energy transition, energy policy, and social entrepreneurship.

Sinha earned an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, an MS in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and a B.Tech in Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi.
