Manti Te'o was a standout linebacker in the early 2010's, beginning his collegiate career at the University of Notre Dame in 2009. Over four years, he emerged as a consensus All-American and garnered eight national awards, highlighting his status among college linebackers.
Te'o was selected in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers, where he played until the 2016 season. Subsequently, he joined the New Orleans Saints from 2017 to 2019, and later played a season with the Chicago Bears before concluding his NFL career.
