As CEO of Saks, Marc Metrick leads the largest luxury ecommerce platform in the U.S. after playing a key role in establishing Saks as a digital luxury pure-play in March 2021.
An accomplished retail industry executive with deep experience in strategy development, merchandising, marketing, operations and finance, Metrick has nearly 30 years of experience in the industry, more than half of which included years in senior leadership roles at Saks, Saks Fifth Avenue and HBC.
Metrick is a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the National Retail Federation, and he is on the Advisory Board of the Jay H. Baker Retailing Center at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is also a member of the CNBC CEO Council and represents Saks with the Partnership for New York City. Since 2019, he has been a member of The Business of Fashion’s BoF 500, the definitive index of people shaping the fashion industry.
