Marcus Schrauf Biography
Marcus H. Schrauf is the founder of Ingwe Development, a UAE based boutique developer of renewable energy projects with a primary focus on Africa and the Middle East. Before founding Ingwe Development, Marcus headed the MEA Project Development unit of JinkoSolar’s Energy Division, where he was responsible for the overall strategic development in the region, including the successful bid for the 1.2 GWp Sweihan PV project. Prior to this, Marcus headed the development function for EMEA and LATAM for Avelar Energy, a Russian led developer and investor in renewable assets, where he pioneered private, non-government PPA-based solar PV projects in South Africa.
Having started his career as a project finance banker and asset leasing specialist, Marcus joined the renewable energy in 2009 as a funds originator within Centrosolar Group.
