Marina studied acting at the Núcleo de Estudios Teatrales, the Casa del Teatro, and the Centro de Formación Teatral San Cayetano. She has participated in more than 20 plays, among them Feliz Nuevo Siglo Doktor Freud by Sabina Berman, Después de ti Señorita Julia by Patrick Marber, directed by Sandra Felix. Santa Juana de los Mataderos by Bertold Brecht, Siete Puertas by Botho Strauss, Bajo la Piel de Castor by Gerhart Hauptmann and La Expulsión directed by Luis de Tavira. In television, she starred in SOS for Televisa, and Los Minindo for Channel Eleven.
She participated in the second season of Capadoccia produced by HBO.
She has been nominated for a Diosa De Plata for best actress and by the APT as a breakthrough actress.
Her most recent work in theater has been El Amante y Traición by Harold Pinter, and Tomar Partido by Ronald Harwood.
