Mark Brunetz

From Cleveland native to Los Angeles celebrity designer, Mark Brunetz has carved out a name for himself in interior design, eliminating clutter and reality television. An expert at conveying design principles to a broad television audience, Mark was recently honored with an Emmy Award as the co-host of "Clean House" on the Style Network.

At the creative helm of his LA-based design company, Mark's prolific body of work has been seen in over 30 countries worldwide. In addition, he has collaborated with Hollywood's A-list, launched an eponymous line of home furnishings on the Home Shopping Network and penned his first book "Take the U Out of Clutter," which was nominated for Best Organizing Book in 2013.

Mark also serves as the Spokesperson for the International Design Guild's Designer Program and is the face of Design For a Difference; a $20,000 design competition benefiting local charities across the U.S.

On the heels of designing special events at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Mark launched his LA-based design company, Mark Brunetz Designs, in the year 2000 and began compiling a residential and commercial design portfolio that spans both coasts and nearly every style of decor.

Well-edited, timeless and distinctly comfortable, Mark's design ideas accurately reflect the needs, desires, and aspirations of today's homeowners. With a broad commercial appeal, Mark's design work has been featured in a variety of media including The New York Times, The Washington Post, Martha Stewart Living and "The Nate Berkus Show" in addition to Us Weekly, In Touch and People Magazine to name a few.

In 2002, Mark began hosting for MTV, HGTV and TLC before joining the cast of "Clean House" on the Style Network. After eight seasons on the show, Mark helped build an international franchise that includes "Clean House Comes Clean," for which he served as co-host and consulting producer and "Clean House: The Messiest Home in the Country," for which he received an Emmy Award in 2010.

A prominent lifestyle expert, Mark recently penned his first book "Take the U Out of Clutter: The Last Clutter Book You'll Ever Need," which was nominated for Best Organizing Book by the National Association of Professional Organizers. Sharing his unique inside out approach to design and de-cluttering, Mark currently travels the country speaking to both the public and design professionals.

Mark is also honored to be associated with a variety of non-profit organizations such as Step Up On Second, Inc., a Clinton Global Initiative that converts facilities into LEED-certified, permanent housing for homeless individuals suffering from mental illness.

In 2013, Mark was appointed Celebrity Spokesperson for Design For A Difference; a national design competition that gives designers, architects and design students the opportunity to win $20,000 in goods and resources to makeover a space at their favorite local charity.

Mark currently resides in the Los Angeles area.
