Marsai Martin

Marsai Martin, at just 20 years old, has established herself as a prominent figure in the entertainment industry. At the age of five, she landed her first national commercial and, after moving to Los Angeles, secured the role of Diane Johnson on the ABC Emmy-nominated series "black-ish." This role, alongside an all-star cast, showcased her talent and earned her nine NAACP Image Awards and three BET Awards.

By the age of 10, Martin had already pitched a movie idea to Will Packer and Universal, which was developed into the feature film "Little." As both the star and executive producer of "Little," she became the youngest person to serve as an executive producer on a major Hollywood project, earning two additional NAACP Image Awards. Her leadership in this capacity marked a significant milestone in her career, underscoring her capacity for innovation and impact in the industry.

Martin's commitment to promoting diverse and young voices continues through her production company, Genius Productions, which has secured an overall deal with Universal. This partnership makes her the youngest person to achieve a first-look deal at Universal and at any studio. Genius Productions has since expanded to include projects across television, digital formats, and live activations. She has taken on roles in producing and starring in the film adaptation of "Amari and the Night Brothers," and in the comedy "Queen." Additionally, Martin voiced the character Liberty in "PAW Patrol: The Movie" and its sequel "PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie." In 2022, she produced and starred in the sports comedy film "Fantasy Football," further diversifying her contributions to the film industry.
