Martin McCourt was the CEO of Dyson Ltd. for 15 years, where he transformed the company into a leading innovator in the consumer products sector. As CEO, he devised and implemented strategies that not only expanded the company from a single product focus to a diverse portfolio but also broadened its market reach, making Dyson a global entity with a presence in over 60 markets around the world. During his tenure, McCourt increased UK skilled jobs, grew profits to over £300m, and played a pivotal role in Dyson achieving £1bn in revenue for the first time in 2011. His leadership was instrumental in establishing Dyson subsidiaries in key markets such as the USA, Japan, Switzerland, Austria, and Germany, securing market leadership in many, including a rapid ascendancy in the USA.

Currently, Martin McCourt holds several influential roles. He is the Chairman of COMPO, Pure Electric, and FreeFlow Technologies, and serves as a Non-Executive Director at Tharsus and Weber. His past roles include chairmanships and non-executive positions at companies like Lightfoot, The Learning Curve Group, Glen Dimplex, and CliniSys Group.
