Maryse Thomas

As Founder and CEO of Pokeware, Maryse Thomas is tasked with maximizing the potential of e-commerce solutions + innovation in service for creating effective digital advertising programs. Her principal focus is to generate, support, and develop a platform, which will effectively equip advertisers and content producers with Pokeware’s proprietary tools, which enable an organic integration of contextual product placement, compatible interaction, and measurement.

Since founding Pokeware in 1997, Thomas has nurtured the company’s growth from inception, on a path towards being a global leader in technology. As Chief Executive Officer, Thomas is responsible for motivating the synergy of inside-out knowledge in interactive advertising, digital media, disruptive technologies, as well as community outreach + technology thought leadership. Under her guidance, Pokeware has diversified its product offerings and anchored itself as a pioneer in a culture of innovation.

Thomas is an adjunct lecturer at Princeton University. During her tenure at the University of South Carolina, Thomas excelled at tennis while majoring in biology. She is closely affiliated with Harlem United, and has run the ING New York Marathon for four consecutive years, raising close to 1 million dollars for pediatric AIDS research and treatment. An IFR rated pilot and aviation enthusiast, Thomas incessantly pursues novel challenges, embracing all opportunities to learn or develop a new skill. Among her current objectives is learning Italian, and running the 2013 NY Marathon in under 4 hours.
