Matthew Lewis

Matthew Lewis is an English actor and widely recognized for his role as Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter film series. After the Harry Potter series concluded, Lewis continued to build his acting career, taking on a variety of roles in film, television, and theater. Some of his notable post-Harry Potter projects include roles in the TV series "Ripper Street," "Bluestone 42," and "Happy Valley." He also appeared in the films "Me Before You" and "Terminal."

Beyond acting, Matthew Lewis is known for his involvement in various charitable causes, particularly those related to cancer research, as his mother is a cancer survivor. He has also been active in supporting organizations like the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Lewis serves as a vice-president of the Leeds Rugby Foundation charity and is the first Patron of the Bambisanani Partnership. He was honored with an honorary Master of Arts degree from Leeds Metropolitan University for his contribution to the arts and charity work. Besides charity and acting, Lewis hosts the Leeds United podcast "Doing a Leeds" with Jermaine Beckford, exhibiting his versatility beyond the screen.
