Maxx Crosby

Maxx Crosby began his journey in the world of professional football as a defensive end for the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League (NFL). Selected by the Oakland Raiders in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL draft, Crosby quickly made his mark in the sport. By 2021, he had already been named to the Pro Bowl four times and was recognized as a second-team All-Pro in 2021 and 2023. Before his NFL success, Crosby was a first-team All-MAC during his college football career at Eastern Michigan, and in 2023, he was inducted into Eastern Michigan's Ring of Honor.

Crosby's accomplishments stretch beyond individual accolades. His influence and commitment transcend his on-field performance. This was evident when the playing field at Rynearson Stadium was renamed "Crosby Field" in 2024, following his generous $1 million donation to the program. Additionally, Crosby signed a four-year contract extension with the Raiders in 2022. His standout performances include leading the NFL in tackles for loss with 22 in the 2022 season, finishing the 2023 season with 14.5 sacks and 90 total tackles, and leading the league with 23 tackles for loss.

Despite facing health challenges, such as an ankle injury in 2024 that required surgery and ended his season early, Crosby has remained a force to be reckoned with. His career total as of the end of the 2024 season boasts 59.5 sacks and 105 tackles for loss. His abilities and efforts have not gone unnoticed by his peers, as he has been recognized in the "2024 NFL Top 100" players list and was named AFC Defensive Player of the Week multiple times.
