Melissa Fumero

Melissa Fumero is an American actress and director, best known for her work as Amy Santiago in the comedy series "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" from 2013 to 2021. In addition to her live-action work, Fumero has also lent her voice to animated characters such as Melissa Tarleton in "M.O.D.O.K" (2021), and has ventured into the realm of Netflix comedy with her role as Eliza Walker in "Blockbuster" (2022).

Fumero has also appeared in "Gossip Girl", "Royal Pains", "The Mentalist", and "CSI: NY". Fumero appeared in the comedy film "Bar Fight!" in 2022 and joining the cast of the animated television series "Digman!". In 2024, she began hosting the comedy podcast "More Better with Stephanie and Melissa" alongside Beatriz. She made her directorial debut with an episode of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" in 2019. Her work has been recognized with multiple awards and nominations, including an Imagen Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in "Brooklyn Nine-Nine".

Fumero was named Hollywood Reporter's "Young Hispanic Hollywood Class of 2013", Variety's "10 Latinos to Watch" in 2016, and appeared on Women's Health's list of "50 Latina and Hispanic Actresses Who Are Changing Hollywood for the Better" in 2021. Fumero received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from New York University.
