Michael John Gorman Biography
Michael John Gorman is currently CEO of Science Gallery International (www.sciencegallery.com), dedicated to igniting creativity and discovery where science and art collide. Plans are already at an advanced stage to establish Science Gallery spaces in London, Melbourne and Bangalore.
Before starting up Science Gallery, Michael John was Lecturer in Science, Technology and Society at Stanford University and has held postdoctoral fellowships at Harvard University, Stanford University and MIT. He has written books on topics ranging from Buckminster Fuller’s designs to seventeenth century art.
As of October 1 2015, Michael John has been appointed to develop a major new visitor attraction in Munich to connect people with the future of life sciences, to be located at Nymphenburg Palace, and also appointed as Professor (Chair) of Life Sciences in Society at LMU Munich.
