Michael Moynihan

Michael Moynihan is CEO of Onehot.ai, a pioneer in generative AI and developer of the AI-powered digital chatbot Max currently used in 5-star apps in the App store. Previously Michael served as Chief Economist and Senior Vice President of the New York City Economic Development Corporation. Michael founded and directed the NDN Clean Energy Initiative and founded and chaired the Electricity 2.0 Initiative. He also created the Internet’s first video sharing community and website, AlwaysonTV, pioneering numerous Internet video firsts including personal video channels, video email and video blogging. In the Clinton Administration, he served as Senior Advisor for Electronic Commerce in the US Treasury Department where he led successful efforts to pass the Internet Tax Freedom Act, helped negotiate e-commerce agreements with the EU and Japan and oversaw the e-commerce efforts of Treasury's 140,000 employees.

Dr. Moynihan has been on the faculty of Princeton and New York Universities and served as a fellow of the Center for Strategic and International Studies. He was a William Bowen Merit Fellow at Princeton and the Robert C. Seamans Fellow in Technology and Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School. He holds degrees from Columbia, Harvard and Princeton.

He is the author of the critically acclaimed book, The Coming American Renaissance (Simon & Schuster) and other books. His writing has appeared in Harper's, The New York Times, The Washington Post and other publications. He is a frequent speaker at conferences and has appeared on television and radio.
