Michel Faulkner

Michel Faulkner, a former New York Jets football player, is perhaps best known for his impactful roles in both religious and political sectors. He is the founding pastor of New Horizon Church in New York City, an establishment that he began in 2006, and previously served as assistant pastor of Lamb's Church in Times Square. Faulkner has also demonstrated his commitment to civic duties, having held the position of Vice President for Community Government Relations at King’s College, served as Commissioner of the City Charter Review initiative, and acted as co-chairman for the New York City Board of Education’s HIV/AIDS Task Force. His influence extends to the non-profit sector, where he founded the Institute for Leadership, aimed at developing leaders and leadership programs.

On the political front, Faulkner was the 2010 Republican nominee for U.S. Representative for New York's 15th congressional district and the 2017 Republican nominee for New York City Comptroller. His political views have been vocal and decisive, with critiques aimed at the Affordable Care Act, the Obama administration's handling of foreign policy, and the increasing size of the federal government. Faulkner's political perspectives also include a strong focus on national security, particularly in relation to Israel, viewing terrorist organizations such as Hamas, Hezbollah, and other Iranian proxies as major threats to peace in the Middle East.
