Michelle Tea Biography
Michelle Tea is the author of over twenty books for adults, teens and children. She is a 2021 Guggenheim Fellow, and her writing has garnered honors from Lambda Literary, The Rona Jaffe Foundation, and PEN/America.
For her role in conceptualizing Drag Queen Story Hour she was presented with the Zola Horn Intellectual Freedom Award from the California Library Association, and the 2023 Legend Award from Logo Television.
