Michellene Davis

Michellene Davis has made significant contributions in the healthcare and legal fields, holding a variety of high-ranking roles. As the President and CEO of National Medical Fellowships, she has had a profound impact on the industry. Davis also founded the Social Impact and Community Investment, an equity-centered, policy-led community health practice. Her work in these areas has led to her being listed as one of Modern Healthcare magazine's Top 25 Most Influential Minority Leaders in Healthcare and one of the 75 Black Healthcare Leaders to Know in 2022.

Before her current role, Davis served as Chief Policy Counsel to former New Jersey Governor Jon S. Corzine. Her tenure in this position made history as she became the first African American to hold the position of Chief Policy Counsel and the second woman to serve as New Jersey State Treasurer. Her legal background, starting as a trial litigator, has undoubtedly shaped her approach to policy and leadership.

Davis holds a Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall School of Law and an Honors degree from Seton Hall University, demonstrating her commitment to academic excellence.
