Mickey Beyer-Clausen

Over the past 20 years, Danish-born and award-winning entrepreneur Mickey Beyer-Clausen has established a solid track record of innovation, creation, and execution. In the ’90s, he was one of the first to launch successful Internet businesses and today he's pioneering mobile media. His output includes what became five sustainable businesses in the technology sector and one foundation.

Today, Mickey is the CEO of Mental Workout, which he founded in 2009 with fellow Dane, Tony Hanna, to bring the power of mobile technology and the world of psychology together. Recently, Mental Workout launched a revolutionary platform for delivering psychology-based content on mobile devices and the web - a platform that can connect top-ranked experts with millions of people and create an unparalleled cycle of learning and development.

Prior to founding Mental Workout, he co-founded two of the most versatile domain name services in the world, Speednames and Ascio Technologies, as well as Trunk Archive, a full service image licensing agency representing the most engaging and sought after photographers. He is also the Founder of Happiness Foundation - an alternative to traditional philanthropy, providing pro-bono consulting services rather than money to non-profits.

Mickey is currently serving on the advisory board of HealthCorps, founded by Dr. Mehmet Oz, to support the foundation's vision to lead a nationwide movement toward a new generation of healthy young people. Since 2002, he has also been involved in several initiatives promoting his home country, Denmark.

Mickey has been a guest lecturer at INSEAD and is frequently invited to speak at industry and consumer forums. Mickey is married to Allison Beyer-Clausen and lives in Southampton, New York with their two children.
