Mike Catton Biography
I gained a BEng (Hons) in Aeronautical Engineering and qualified as a Chartered Aircraft Engineer when employed as an Engineering Officer in the British Army responsible for a fleet of 36 aircraft and a team of 120 men and women. On leaving the Army I joined the University of Surrey to teach accelerated learning techniques to students in their first year to assist with their studies. In their final year I taught leadership, communication, team-working and interview skills, to improve student performance in the job search market. The University held, and still does, the top place in the country for graduates entering employment in the UK. I emigrated to New Zealand in 2006 and have since evolved into a coach and trainer specialising in productivity and performance. In 2008 I won an international award, against stiff competition from over 1800 coaches worldwide, for my original ideas around increasing performance by causing habitual change with my unique tools. Training is my passion.
