Mike Tompkins

Mike Tompkins is a new kind of talent for an ever-changing musical landscape. He is a talented Acapella Producer/Artist who cut his teeth on YouTube – the world’s largest stage. With over 175 million views on his videos, he approaches his artistry with both raw instinct and technical savvy. Using only his voice, he redefines Acapella music by crafting youthful and inspiring pop music / remixes that is equally infectious and innovative.

Mike took to the road as the opening act for the Jonas Brothers/Karmin tour. 2014 has been a big year for Mike outside of YouTube he produced and is featured on the latest t.A.T.u single which went #1 in Russia. As well as co-wrote/produced with Timbaland for Jennifer Hudson's single 'Walk it Out', and he is featured on the hook. Mike continues to release more successful remixes and mashups with his trademark style.

Tompkins was born in Edmonton, Alberta. He attended and graduated college from the Ontario Institute of Audio Recording Technology with a diploma in music production, receiving honors distinction and two awards. He started his musical career on YouTube in 2009. Since then, he has amassed more than 1 million subscribers to his channel and over 200 million views on his videos. He has collaborated with artists including Peter Hollens, the cast of Pitch Perfect, Glenn Morrison, Karmin, Bonnie McKee, Tessa Violet, t.A.T.u., Max Schneider, Bethany Mota, and The Muppets.
