Morgan Brian Gautrat

Morgan Brian Gautrat, born on February 26, 1993, is a distinguished American professional soccer player known for her role as a midfielder with the Orlando Pride in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). She made her debut for the United States national team in a friendly match against Korea Republic on June 15, 2013, and has since earned 88 caps and scored eight goals for her country.

Gautrat's soccer journey began at the University of Virginia, where she played for the Cavaliers from 2011 to 2014. During her collegiate career, she demonstrated remarkable skill and consistency, scoring 41 goals and recording 43 assists. Her outstanding performance placed her second in career points, second in career assists, and fifth in career goals in the university's history. Her excellence on the field was recognized with back-to-back MAC Hermann Trophy wins in 2013 and 2014, making her the fourth women's player ever to secure the prestigious award in consecutive years.

After her impressive college career, Gautrat was selected first overall by the Houston Dash in the 2015 NWSL College Draft. She quickly made an impact in the league, showcasing her talent at the professional level. Internationally, she contributed significantly to the United States Women's National Team's success, helping them clinch titles at the 2015 and 2019 FIFA Women's World Cups. Notably, at the 2015 World Cup, she was the youngest member of the squad at just 22 years old.
