Mr. President

The son of a Baptist preacher, Steve Bridges was all set to follow in his father's footsteps.  Then, of course, he became a comedian.

By high school, Bridges had carefully honed his uncanny characterizations to include contemporary political figures.  Then, his biggest laughs came courtesy of Jimmy Carter.  Today, he arguably does one of the best George W. Bush impersonations anywhere.

In between, he has mastered a host of other political characters (with the emphasis on characters) including Bill Clinton, Al Gore, Senators Phil Gramm, Ted Kennedy and Strom Thurmond and even the Rev. Jesse Jackson.  He also has expanded his repertoire to include newsmen Tom Brokaw, Dan Rather, Geraldo Rivera and Sam Donaldson, as well as television characters like Regis Philbin and Homer Simpson - not to mention the ever-popular Mr. Haney from Green Acres.  What makes Bridges such a comic standout is his ability not only to accurately voice these and many other characters but to instantly switch between them to create "conversations" among two or more of them at the same time.

Known for his hilarious - but clean - comedic routines, Bridges has appeared on many television shows including ER (NBC), The District (CBS) and ABC News Overnight (ABC).  His numerous radio credits include guest appearances on KABC (Ken and Barkley Show) and K-EARTH 101 out of Los Angeles, NBC Mutual Radio (nationwide) and even the venerable BBC.  He has also done commercial voice-over work for HBO and Coca-Cola to name a few.

About the Make up Artist...

Kevin Haney is a man of many faces- only one of which belongs to him. The others belong to history, to the movies- even to reigning world leaders.

Haney's first full-set job on a Hollywood movie was with Bob Norrin for Cocoon (1985). Since then he's made LA his home base and has worked on numerous movies including The Addams Family (1991), The Babe (1992), Death Becomes Her (1992), The Shawshank Redemption (1994), How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000) and Planet of Apes (2001).

He also did the make up to age former Saturday Night Live comic Dan Akroyd for his role in Driving Miss Daisy (1989)- for which Haney won an Oscar.

While becoming one of Hollywood's most respected and accomplished makeup artist, Haney has developed a special expertise in likeness makeup. His most recent masterpiece- makeup and prosthetics to turn California comic/impressionist Steve Bridges into George W. Bush- is just that- a masterful likeness that is virtually indistinguishable from the real president!
