Na'ama Moran

Na’ama Moran is the CEO and Co-Founder of Sourcery, a company that has built an industry-specific payments and commerce platform for the wholesale foodservice and hospitality industry. Notable for much of her start-up and advisory experience in both Silicon Valley and Silicon Alley, one of the most remarkable elements in Na’ama’s background is her success as a female entrepreneur, thought leader and innovator in the FinTech space.

Na’ama has vast experience driving technological adoption in traditional Finance and more recently, FinTech, one of the most rapidly transforming areas in all of business, poised to take advantage of technologies such as big data, analytics, digital currency, and mobility. FinTech is a field that is receptive and eager for female voices, and there are few better examples than Na’ama’s professional story.

Over the course of her career, Na’ama has served as a strategic, forward thinking executive and founder for companies like Zappedy (later acquired by Groupon), Munera, and Hooja. Her current mission is focused on building the future for Sourcery, which aims to revolutionize an industry that is burdened with decades-old workflows and technology. By identifying a need for more efficient transaction solutions in the foodservice and hospitality industries, Na’ama has provided the steady hand, vision, and experience that have attracted major investors banking on a bright future for her company.

Since 2011, Na’ama has also served as an advisor for Honest Policy, a company that is focused on helping people find insurance policies that suit their needs best. Her foundational achievements have helped drive the company’s market research, testing, and product development efforts.

Her plans for the future are bright! Apart from continuing to grow Sourcery, Na’ama intends to enter a new area of FinTech, with a new business that will launch in 2017.

Na’ama holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree Arts degree in Economics and Political Science (Magna Cum Laude) from Cornell University. She has also taken numerous graduate level Computer Science courses at Stanford University.
