Naa-Sakle Akuete is the Founder & CEO at Eu'Genia Shea, a family-run social enterprise dedicated to all natural premium shea butter moisturizers. The fair wage enterprise creates opportunities for its female workers in Ghana and donates 15% of our profits back to them in the form of an education fund.
Akuete founded the company in 2014 with her mother, after she was diagnosed with cancer. Using her mother's past experience as the President of the Global Shea Alliance they created a co-op of female pickers in northern Ghana that provides sustainable wages and training to their employees and provides consumers with the best shea around.
