Nadeska Alexis

Nadeska Alexis is a music journalist and writer who is highly famous for her hip-hop reporting. She has made a name as a highly talented music journalist by working with networks such as Complex and MTV News. She is a host of Everyday Struggle, a daily hip-hop debate show, and has been praised for transcending her role as a counterbalance and instilling the set with a grace and presence that’s at the core of what makes it so fun to watch. Alexis interviewed many famous artists like Pusha T, Designer, Schoolboy Q, and others. Her popular works include Everyday Struggle, RapFixLive, and Complex conversations. Nadeska came to limelight by working for the Complex Media.

She graduated from Binghamton University in 2009 in Journalism and Global Culture. After completing her education, Nadeska got a job at AOL Music magazine as a writer, focusing on the hip-hop scene, which helped her a lot in developing skills for her further career; after two years, Nadeska was recruited by MTW News. She also worked a year as an assistant editor at BlackBook Media, then joined MTV News. During this time, she made her first television appearances, including in the show “RapFix Live," among many others.

Nadeska has been featured in the first late-night show produced by Complex Media, “Open Late with Peter Rosenberg”. Nadeska has since launched her own show on Beats 1, which focuses on New York’s hip-hop scene, and has had A$AP Rocky and Flipp Dinero on as its guest stars.
