Nancy Snyderman, MD

Dr. Nancy Snyderman is a renowned surgeon, healthcare systems expert, keynote speaker, and corporate director. Snyderman currently serves on the boards of Alkermes, Axonics, and Lyra Therapeutics. She also maintains roles as a Scientific Advisor to start-up companies Cadence and Strand Diagnostics and as a board member of the Albright Institute at Wellesley College and the Fair Food Network.

In addition to her corporate roles, Snyderman is a Kellogg Fellow and a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons. Her expansive career includes over 15 years working on innovative medical programs and products for General Electric and Johnson & Johnson. She began her corporate ventures in 2003 at Johnson & Johnson, where she developed online medical curricula marketed to the public. Snyderman also served for 10 years on the board of General Electric’s Healthymagination, focusing on applying technology solutions to global health challenges.

For more than 30 years, Snyderman served as an award-winning Senior Medical Editor at ABC and NBC News. Her expertise spans the fields of medicine, science, communication, and global media, uniquely positioning her in the intersection of these areas. As a board-certified, practicing Otolaryngologist-Head and Neck Surgeon, her clinical experience includes 25 years at UC San Francisco and the University of Pennsylvania. Recently, she has served as a Consulting Professor at the Stanford University Center for Innovation in Global Health and co-founded the Stanford University-NBC News Global Media Fellowship.
