Nasim Pedrad Biography
Nasim Pedrad is an Iranian-American actor, voice actor, and comedian. She is known for the the TBS/The Roku Channel sitcom television show "Chad," of which she created, produced, and starred. She also contributed to the writing and directing aspects of this TV series. In 2018, she guest-starred on "Brooklyn Nine-Nine"; Former "SNL" Cast Member (2009–2014) and for co-starring in the first season of the Fox horror-comedy series "Scream Queens."
She starred in the movie "Aladdin" (2019), and the comedy films "Cooties" (2014) and "Desperados" (2020). She has voiced roles in animated films including "The Lorax" (2012), and "Despicable Me 2" (2013).
She also co-starred in the short-lived Fox sitcom "Mulaney" as well as having a recurring guest role in "New Girl." Originally from Tehran, Iran, Pedrad was raised in Irvine, California.
