Natasha Rothwell

Natasha Rothwell is an actress, writer, and comedian known for her standout performances in television and film. She first gained widespread recognition as a writer and actor on the hit HBO series "Insecure," where she portrayed the fan-favorite character Kelli Prenny. Rothwell's blend of humor and heartfelt moments made her a key part of the show’s success, contributing both in front of the camera and behind the scenes as a writer and producer.

She is also known to television audiences for her performance as Belinda in the critically hailed HBO series "The White Lotus," a performance that earned her a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series. Rothwell took on her first leading role in 2024 in "How to Die Alone," the Hulu series, which highlights her signature mix of comedy and drama while being centered on themes of self-discovery and resilience. Rothwell will produce and star in a TV adaptation of the viral TikTok series "Who TF Did I Marry?"

Rothwell's other credits include being a writer for "Saturday Night Live"; an original sketch series, "Netflix Presents: The Characters," which she wrote and starred in; voice work in prominent animated series such as "BoJack Horseman" and "Duck Tales"; and appearances on the big screen in "Sonic the Hedgehog" and its sequels, "Wish" and "Wonka."

In addition to being an ardent supporter of Planned Parenthood and Emily’s List, Rothwell supports the HRC, ACLU, SPLC and RAINN. She is a staunch advocate for the arts and arts education having worked with the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, KIPP NYC College Prep High School, Arena Stage, Los Angeles Public Libraries, The Young Storytellers and The Story Pirates.
