Nelson Dellis

Nelson Dellis is a five-time USA Memory Champion and a recognized leader in the field of memory expertise, extensively traveling as a competitive Memory Athlete, Memory Consultant, Published Author, and highly regarded Keynote Speaker. As a Memory Champion, Mountaineer, and Alzheimer's Disease Activist, he advocates a lifestyle that integrates mental and physical fitness, proper diet, and social involvement.

Born with an average memory, Dellis was driven by the passing of his grandmother due to Alzheimer's disease in 2009 to begin enhancing his memory, aiming to maintain a strong and healthy mind throughout life. This motivation led him to become a prominent competitive memorizer globally, capturing five U.S. titles, achieving the elite Grandmaster of Memory title, and setting multiple U.S. and international memory records.

Dellis is the Founder & CEO of "Climb For Memory," a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer's research through mountain climbing. He has ascended numerous peaks worldwide for this cause, including four attempts on Mt. Everest. Additionally, he is a co-founder of the memory training app, Memory League, and a co-founder and director of the Memory League Championships. Dellis also serves as a professor of computer science at both Skidmore College and the University of Miami.

Dellis's work has been showcased in the Netflix documentary “Memory Games,” on various television platforms such as The TODAY Show, CNN.com, ABC Nightline, The Dr. Oz Show, and National Geographic. He has authored books like "Remember It! The Names of People You Meet, All of Your Passwords, Where You Left Your Keys, and Everything Else You Tend to Forget" and the children's book "Memory Superpowers!: An Adventurous Guide to Remembering What You Don’t Want to Forget." Through his public speaking, Dellis combines informational content with demonstrations of his memory techniques to both educate and engage his audiences.
