Nick Sirianni

Nick Sirianni was appointed head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles on January 24, 2021. In his debut campaign, he led the Eagles to a 9-8 record and playoff appearance, becoming the third head coach in franchise history to reach the postseason in their first year at the helm. Sirianni's tenure has seen the team reach Super Bowl LVII in the 2022 season and, again, a return to Super Bowl LIX in the 2024 season. In recognition of his accomplishment, Sirianni won the Greasy Neale Award in 2022.

Coming from a family lineage of football coaches and educators, Sirianni established a winning culture based on five core values – connect, compete, accountability, football IQ, and fundamentals. Through these principles, he directed one of the most significant year-over-year win total improvements in team history in 2021, with Philadelphia securing seven of its last 10 regular-season games to make the playoffs. His head coaching record includes an impressive regular season record of 48–20 (.706) and a postseason record of 5–3 (.625).

Under Sirianni's leadership, the Eagles led the league in explosive plays (163) and set franchise records in rushing yards (2,715) and rushing touchdowns (25). They also exhibited a strong performance in their conversion rate and managed to keep giveaways to a minimum. Philadelphia's defense also performed well under his leadership, registering the second most defensive touchdowns in the NFL.

Apart from his strategic acumen, Sirianni's teaching skills, coupled with his energetic demeanor, have contributed to the success of many players, including quarterback Jalen Hurts. As a first-time starter, Hurts became just the eighth player in NFL history to record 3,000 passing yards (3,144) and 750 rushing yards (784) in a season and became the youngest signal-caller (23 years old) to ever lead the Eagles to a playoff berth.

Before his successful stint with the Eagles, Sirianni had previously served as the offensive coordinator for the Indianapolis Colts from 2018 to 2020 and had coaching stints with the San Diego/Los Angeles Chargers from 2013 to 2017 and the Kansas City Chiefs from 2009 to 2012. Additionally, as a college athlete, Sirianni was part of the Mount Union Purple Raiders football team, which won the NCAA Division III national championship in 2000, 2001, and 2002.
