Nick Tran is the Head of Global Marketing at TikTok. He joined TikTok from Hulu in April of 2020.
At Hulu, Tran served as VP, Brand and Culture Marketing. He and his brand marketing team worked closely on a series of tongue-in-cheek Hulu brand campaigns known as “Better Ruins Everything,” in which celebrity spokespeople warned customers not to get Hulu at the risk of ruining traditional television forever. He was also involved in Hulu’s live sports campaign, which featured professional athletes cashing in on promotional efforts.
Tran has also held senior marketing roles at Sumsung Electronics America, Stance Socks, Taco Bell, and Aptelis. Tran earned a BA in History and Psychology from UC San Diego and and MBA from UC Irvine.
