Nicole L. Turner

Nicole L. Turner is known as the Culture Pro™ and the Detox Strategist™. She transforms work cultures for organizations looking to create work environments that put their employees first. Turner's passion for detoxing toxic work culture is what motivates her to help clients assess their current climate and culture, identify pain points and challenges, and develop a solution to lead the organization forward.

For many years, Turner has been a mindset coach helping individuals identify the mental and emotional toxins that are negatively impacting various areas of their life and guiding them to developing a strategy to “detox” from those mental and emotional toxins. In her work with individuals, she discovered that some of their toxins were caused by toxic workplace culture. This led Nicole to do a deeper dive into organizational behavior and culture. She discovered that toxic workplace culture caused a tremendous impact on employees’ mental health. Employees who experienced a toxic workplace culture suffered from anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, and other mental health issues. A toxic workplace culture doesn’t just impact the employee mentally, emotionally, and physically, it also impacts their family, friends, and the community in which they live. Toxic workplace culture also impacts productivity, customer relations, profits, and the overall brand of an organization.

Turner holds graduate degrees in Education and Business. She also holds a graduate certificate in Diversity Studies, and is a certified Human Capital Strategist, Strategic HR Business Partner, and a Prosci-certified Change Manager, and a Co-Active Coach. Turner is also a mentor with the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center where she mentors other business owners, as well as an advisor to Startups on startup culture. In addition, Nicole sits on the board of directors for several non-profit organizations.

Turner has authored five books. As an extension of being a mindset coach, Turner is also a podcaster. On her "Detox for Your Life" podcast, she shares tidbits to help you change the way you think, so you can change the way you live. Turner is often a guest expert on tv, radio, and podcasts discussing topics ranging from self-improvement to transforming organizations.
