Nina Sossamon-Pogue is an inspirational powerhouse on and off the stage. Moving away from home at age 13, Sossamon-Pogue made the USA Gymnastics team in the 80’s but failed to make the 1984 Olympics. Competing for SEC powerhouse LSU in 1985, she had a career-ending knee injury, but went on to find a love for journalism and became a successful reporter and an Emmy-winning News Anchor. In her 40’s Sossamon-Pogue switched from TV to Tech and became a successful Corporate Leader. As the Vice President of Communications, she helped to navigate the SaaS startup through a highly successful IPO.
