Nina Tassler

Nina Tassler is a television executive and author. She previously held such positions as president, and also chairman of CBS Entertainment from 2004 to 2015. Tassler was the highest profile Latina in network television and one of the few executives who had the power to green light a series. She oversaw CBS’ prime time, late night and daytime programming, as well as program development for all genres. She has nurtured some of the most popular shows in television, including “The Big Bang Theory,” “How I Met Your Mother,” “ER” and the critically acclaimed “The Good Wife.” She also helped shepherd the global phenomena “CSI” and “NCIS” to the screen. Tassler is the author of “What I Told My Daughter” (Atria Books), a collection of timely and timeless wisdom for the next generation of empowered women.
