Noramay Cadena

Noramay Cadena's professional career has spanned a diverse range of operating and investing environments, from early-stage startups to Fortune 50 companies. Her superpower is driving operational efficiency, and she leverages that work across supply chains. She is passionate about the future of food being culturally rich, sustainable, and healthy; supply chains are a key piece to the puzzle!

Cadena is a managing partner at Supply Change Capital, an early-stage venture firm investing in the intersection of food, culture, and technology. Prior to Supply Change Capital, she was a managing partner at MiLA Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm she co-founded in Los Angeles, where she invested in tech you can touch. She also leads investments for Portfolia's Rising America Fund, a micro fund investing in Latinx, Black, and LGBTQIA founders.

Cadena serves on the advisory board of the Homeboy Industries Ventures and Jobs Fund and is a founding board member of Latinx VC, an organization that is increasing the Latino ecosystem of funders and founders. The mayor of Los Angeles appointed her to the board of the Housing Authority Commission of Los Angeles (the second-largest housing authority in the nation). ​ In 2020, she was named one of 50 renowned women in robotics, one of 10 Latinas making waves in venture capital, and one of the top 100 influential Latinas in the United States.

Cadena is a Kauffman Fellow. She holds an MBA, a Master’s in Engineering Systems, and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering—all from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). She is also a director and member of the Latino Corporate Directors Association (LCDA).
