Norman Chad serves as co-host of the World Series of Poker and an occasional co-host of ESPN’s weekday Pardon the Interruption.
Chad also writes a weekly syndicated sports column, Couch Slouch, which appears in 20 newspapers, including the Washington Post, Houston Chronicle, Chicago Sun-Times, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Seattle Post-Intelligencer and Cleveland Plain Dealer.
He previously wrote a sports column for Sports Illustrated and the now-defunct National Sports Daily, and wrote a syndicated NFL picks humor column for 12 years.
Chad is the author of the book, Hold On, Honey, I’ll Take You to the Hospital at Halftime, a collection of his humor essays on sports television. He has also has written scripts for Coach (ABC) and Arliss (HBO).
