His family heads up the Bonifay Ski School in Florida, where Parks became the youngest person ever to water-ski at 6 months and 25 days old.
Parks is no stranger to the competition environment, and has taken home top medals in the sport's most prestigious events. His extensive slalom and trick skiing background has translated into an unshakeable comfort level on the water, and especially in the air. He was the first wakeboarder to pull off the impossible 1080. In the world of wakeboarding, the name Parks Bonifay has become synonymous with big air and winning. Parks is at a level above everyone and can do it all.
Parks rides with a style all his own, with the raw talent and tools to be the best rider around. He was voted second in Wakeboading magazine's 2001 reader's poll, has his own trading card, and two different action figures. Park resides in Lake Alfred, Florida with his family. When he isn't traveling and training hard behind the boat, he spends his free time spinning records, surfing, and snowboarding.
