Pat Simpson

Pat Simpson is a nationally recognized TV personality for his home building and remodeling expertise. His earlier years of hands-on building experience led into television in 1988 when he hosted the national home improvement series, "Backyard America," on TNN. In 1994 when HGTV (Home & Garden Television) launched, Simpson hosted one of the first series in their lineup, "Fix-It-Up!"

Since that time, new shows were created and he became host and technical director of the hit series "Room To Improve" and "Before & After." His extensive experience and approachable demeanor made him a trusted figure in the home improvement field. In addition to his television career, Simpson has appeared on NBC's "The TODAY Show," where his expertise was showcased to a national audience.

After retiring from television, Simpson founded his own property management and real estate sales company in 2005. Simpson Properties Group, located in the Orange Beach/Gulf Shores area of Alabama, is operated by Simpson and his wife, Claudia. Beyond his business ventures, he continues to engage audiences with keynote programs such as "Little Projects...Big Impacts!!", "Name That Tool!", and "Life's Perfect Toolbox." These presentations often feature do-it-yourself home-improvement projects, interactive audience participation, and life lessons compared to building tools.
