Patrick Mouratoglou

Patrick Mouratoglou is a highly accomplished tennis coach, celebrated for his achievements in the sport. With a remarkable track record of 10 Grand Slam titles, 4 Coach of the Year awards, 39 singles coaching titles, and 2 Olympic medals, his impact on tennis is undeniable. He has successfully coached over 40 players who have reached the Top 100 rankings.

At just 26 years old, Patrick embarked on his coaching career and established the Mouratoglou Academy in France. His passion for discovering new tennis talent has turned the academy into Europe's premier tennis training facility, attracting the world's best ATP and WTA players.

In 1999, he began coaching Marcos Baghdatis, who became the Junior World #1 and won the 2003 Australian Open Junior Championships. From 2007 to 2011, he coached notable players like Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, Aravane Rezaï, Yanina Wickmayer, and Laura Robson. During this period, Patrick also welcomed Jérémy Chardy to the academy and started coaching Grigor Dimitrov, who rapidly climbed to the ATP Top 50 within five months.

In 2012, Patrick began coaching tennis legend Serena Williams. Under his guidance, Serena reclaimed the World No. 1 spot and achieved numerous victories, including 2 gold medals at the 2012 London Olympic Games and 10 Grand Slam titles.

Patrick established the Champ’seed Foundation in 2014 with the aim of supporting young talented tennis players who face financial constraints in their pursuit of reaching the highest international level. Over the past decade, Champ'seed has nurtured top players such as Coco Gauff, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Holger Rune, Alexei Popyrin, and the Fruhvirtova sisters.

In addition to coaching and mentoring, Patrick serves as an international consultant for leading TV networks, including ESPN, Fox Asia, France Televisions, and Eurosport International.

In 2020, he initiated UTS, a revolutionary tennis league showcasing a line-up of 8 players engaging in fast-paced, dynamic matches captivating the audience through multiple events a year across the globe. Patrick also played a prominent role in Netflix's "The Playbook," a show with top coaches such as Doc Rivers, José Mourinho, and Dawn Stanley, directed by LeBron James. His success with Netflix persisted as he appeared in seasons 1 and 2 of "Break Point," a documentary series that provides a behind-the-scenes look at players during tournaments on tour.

Globally recognized for his influence in tennis, Patrick has been listed by Vanity Fair as one of the 50 most influential French people in the world and by L’Équipe among the Top 15 personalities shaping global tennis. He is a prominent social media figure in coaching, with over 2.5 million followers, where he shares exclusive advice and match analysis.
