Paul Marciano

Dr. Paul Marciano is a leading authority on employee engagement and retention. He earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Yale University, specializing in behavior modification and motivation. Marciano has served on the faculties of Davidson College and Princeton University, where he taught courses in Leadership, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Survey Development, Research Methods, and Statistics.

Since founding the human relations consulting firm Whiteboard, LLC in 2003, Marciano has been committed to helping organizations cultivate, manage, and grow their human capital through executive coaching, training, facilitation, and team building workshops. In addition to his role as President of Whiteboard, LLC, he is also the founder of ColorMe Company, a producer of children's arts and crafts that was recognized in 2007 by the Wall Street Journal for its community contributions.

Marciano is the author of "Carrots and Sticks Don't Work: Build a Culture of Employee Engagement with the Principles of RESPECT," which includes numerous real-world case studies and strategies to boost employee effort and reduce turnover. He is currently working on a new book titled "Super Teams: Using the Principles of RESPECT to Unleash Explosive Business Performance." His varied clientele includes pharmaceutical and manufacturing companies, sales and IT organizations, consulting firms, medical practices, schools, and government agencies.
