Paul Tazewell

Paul Tazewell is a renowned costume designer known for his work across theatre, dance, film, opera, and television. His contributions to the film "Wicked" in 2024 earned him an Academy Award for Best Costume Design, a groundbreaking achievement as the first Black man to receive this honor. Tazewell's other notable film work includes costume designs for "Harriet" in 2019 and Steven Spielberg's "West Side Story" in 2021.
