Peter Coyote Biography
Peter Coyote is a television and movie actor, a filmmaker, and the author of Sleeping Where I Fall, a memoir of the 1960s counterculture. He is also well-known for his voice-over work and has done a number of documentaries and television specials, including the nine-hour PBS series The West. He hosted the 10-part documentary series The Pacific Century, and he has recorded a new 12-hour series on America’s national parks for documentarian Ken Burns that will air on PBS in 2009. He is recording the entire National Geographic Explorer series and is currently at work on a new book entitled Twelve Things We Are Afraid to Know and Why They Are Killing Us.
