Ramin Bastani

Ramin Bastani is the founder and CEO of Healthvana, a technology company dedicated to facilitating communication between medical professionals and their patients. Under his leadership, the company’s patient engagement platform for healthcare providers has delivered over 60 million health records to patients nationwide. Healthvana’s customers include both the largest county in the U.S. and the largest HIV healthcare provider in the nation. The company has been at the cutting-edge of addressing both the HIV epidemic and the COVID-19 pandemic.

Bastani's journey with technology began during his college days, exploring the digital world through a 33.6k modem. This early exposure ignited his passion for the transformative power of digital innovation. Bastani's personal experience as a caregiver for a loved one who passed away motivated him to found Healthvana, driven by a mission to leverage technology to improve patient lives.

His dedication to innovation has led him to speak at numerous conferences and respected institutions such as the White House, the Milken Institute Global Conference, Stanford University and the National Library of Medicine. Healthvana's innovative approach has been highlighted in hundreds of media outlets including The New York Times, Fox News, The Wall Street Journal, NPR, and CNBC. Bastani's scholarly contributions include co-authoring articles for esteemed publications like the New England Journal of Medicine Catalyst. His efforts were recognized when he was named a finalist for Entrepreneur of the Year by E&Y in Los Angeles in 2021.

Bastani graduated from the University of Southern California with a BA in Communications with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship.
