He’s a member of the Global Diplomatic Forum, a Board member of the Boma Pan-African’s Switch media and a member of the youth development Advisory Council of the Netherland Embassy in Kenya. Obonyo is the co-founder of The Youth Congress. An alumnus of Duke University, Obonyo has authored and co-authored numerous books and chapters, including Conversations about the Youth in Kenya. He’s a TEDx and Ford Foundation IFP fellow.
