Rashan Ali

With a passion for sports and empowering young women, Rashan Ali continues establishing herself as a revered multimedia personality within the sports and entertainment industries. An Atlanta native and graduate of Florida A&M University, she gave her candid perspective on local radio for 12 years on HOT 107.9, V-103 and Streetz 94.5.

Ali subsequently ventured into television as a freelance sports anchor for HLN and CNN. She also served as a sideline reporter for CBS Sports Network and hosted Under Armour Highlights of the Week on the NFHS Network. Additionally, she co-hosted Falcons Rise Up Weekly on the CW Network. Recently, she has been engaging audiences as a host on TV One's "Sister Circle" and also appears in the series "All The Queen’s Men" on BET Plus. Ali is the founder and host of "The Cool Soror" podcast, a weekly platform that showcases exemplary individuals from Black Greek Lettered Organizations.

Ali's engagement extends beyond her professional commitment through her active participation in community-centric initiatives. She founded Sporty Girls, Inc., a non-profit organization designed to empower young girls aged 8-18 by teaching them life skills through involvement in sports like golf, tennis, soccer, swimming, and lacrosse. She has also founded The Coach’s Daughter Production Company. As an author, she published her first children’s book, “Piper Sky’s Pink Popsicle Shoes.” A dedicated member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Ali is married to Brian Smith, and they are proud parents to their two daughters, Bailey and Carter.
